Warmly Remembered

Triple S and I spent Friday remembering Serenity. There were some tears, but I am happy that it was not a day of uncontrolled pain. Some happiness.

We received a few nice cards from friends. The thing that touches me the most is when others say they miss her and their dreams for her.

Triple S played a song for Serenity, "Amor Eterno'. We've been humming and singing it all weekend.

At the memorial service last year, our friends wrote notes to Serenity. We read them on Friday. We looked at her pictures.

Triple S baked her a steamed almond sponge cake.

Loving and missing you sweetie.

Thinking of you and Serenity. Actually, you've been on my mind quite a bit. Your pictures of your pregnant belly have been on my mind lately. I'm sorry Serenity isn't here to be with you and Triple S.

((((HUGS)))))

What a great cake! How nice to have those writings from your friends to remember what she meant to everyone, so you know you are not grieving and missing her alone.
Thinking of all of you always but especially now.

I am sorry to have missed the anniversary. At first I was still mute from ours, and then overwhelmed, and am only now digging out from under the reader explosion. But I wanted you to know that I am remembering Serenity with you, and that I am thinking of all three of you.

And the cake is just stunning-- so delicate and so warm. And I am sorry only two of you got to try it.
