If it's not the deadbabyland loop-de-loop, it's one of the rides of unpredictable health.
Last week I was on the skull crusher with a 3-day migraine, this week I've been on the vortex, with vertigo (3rd day - yippee!). These rides might be free, but I can't get off them when I want to.
I am frustrated. I am nearing my wit's end.
Any suggestions? I am thinking a naturepath, accupuncture, you name it. If anyone has any experience with getting the body back in balance, please relate, through a comment or email. I don't know what is off, but I can't take this anymore.

I have had problems with migranes all of my life. The best thing I have been able to do is watch what I eat and drink. Even that doesn't work all of the time - but if I'm vigilant I do notice a difference.
I've never had problems with vertigo - but a close friend has. I'll have to ask her if she has found anything to help.
I'm all in favor of natural remedies. I completely enjoyed accupuncture while I was doing it last summer. And I used to do a weekly theraputic massage that also helped a lot with the migranes.
Be careful and take care of yourself.
Hey, sorry to hear you're not feeling well.
My migraines stopped when I went on the pill, not something you want to do... but it might be hormone -related. B6 vitamins might help.
Vertigo might be due to low blood pressure, have you had yours checked recently? Salt, licorice & ginger worked for me.
Hope you feel better.
No suggestions at all, but so sorry you're not feeling well! Hope you find some relief soon.
no suggestions from me as I've never suffered from either of those, but I hope you find some relief soon. That just can't be fun.
thanks gals! I should be clear - the vertigo is room spins not lightheadedness. and when it comes it is here non-stop (not like just when i stand up)
I think i will ask the RE when we go in, since she is all about hormones.
ugh.
You had a 3-day migraine last week too!? UGH. I'm so sorry... you have my sympathies!
Oh man I wish I knew how to fix that, it sounds horrible! Sending you hugs and positive energies.. Hope it gets better soon.
I get migraines, and so do a few other women I know due to a soy allergy. But hearing that in tandem with vertigo would lead me to think you might have a sinus infection, or sinus issues. Have you ever used a neti pot? They work wonders for clearing up sinus issues. Good luck...health issues just end up being such a horrible addition to this grief crap. Just wrapping up a stomach virus bender. uh, yippee.
No assvice just sympathy. Sounds Awful, capital intended!
xxoo
When I get horrible long lasting headaches with dizziness it always turns out to be a sinus infection and antibiotics clear it up. Not exactly a natural way to go but it might be worth checking out.
I sorry you have a nasty headache.
this might sound silly, but are you drinking your 64 oz of water (or more) every day? it will definitely help the headaches. when you get the deeper massages, it releases yuck stuff into the system and can make some people feel yuck overall. water will help flush it, and so will exercise; i think you metioned you took it easy in yoga after your massage...those muscles need to be squeeeeeezed free of the lactic acid from the massage.
water and exercise. that's all i got...hope it helps.
Oh, ugh. I've only ever had a few migraines & that was enough, thank you! No suggestions, but I sure hope you are feeling better soon.
Sorry no assvice for the headaches - except more water. I also love acupuncture, so relaxing.
Hang in there hun
