Wow, you really are gardening like crazy! Can't wait to see what turns up in your area.
I love columbine.
Thanks for the lead testing suggestion; I'm going to hit the local EPA office up first to see if they'll do it for free. If not, I'll head elsewhere for a small fee. I'm hoping with a stone house and only lead painted windows it's not so bad . . .
I have the celandine poppy in flower all over my little cottage garden at the moment. So pretty, but a nightmare as it seems to seed itself everywhere. I used to have a Veg plot too until we moved. I rented it off the council, but where we are now there isn't any land to rent and my garden is pretty small. I miss my veg plot. I'm desperately trying to grow as much as I can in pots this year. *sigh* Any tips on good veg growing in pots would be appreciated!
When we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present -- love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure -- the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth.

What beautiful flowers and such a cool caterpillar.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Gorgeous. I have a special love of caterpillars, even if they are sometimes not so kind to the green things.
I love Bergamot..so fragrant.
Thanks for sharing these - it's heartening to see that your corner of the world is blooming like this.
I think I'm in love with the celandine poppy.
