I love columbine.

Thanks for the lead testing suggestion; I'm going to hit the local EPA office up first to see if they'll do it for free. If not, I'll head elsewhere for a small fee. I'm hoping with a stone house and only lead painted windows it's not so bad . . .

I have the celandine poppy in flower all over my little cottage garden at the moment. So pretty, but a nightmare as it seems to seed itself everywhere.
I used to have a Veg plot too until we moved. I rented it off the council, but where we are now there isn't any land to rent and my garden is pretty small. I miss my veg plot.
I'm desperately trying to grow as much as I can in pots this year. *sigh*
Any tips on good veg growing in pots would be appreciated!
