Five, count them, five

Yesterday was five months since Serenity was "delivered." I actually had deadbabyblues on Fri and Sat, but Triple S had claimed Sunday for himself.

We went for a 20 mile bike ride. I like biking. It doesn't remind me that I don't have my baby, I guess because I wasn't picturing myself biking a newborn around. The walking in the park, firstly, kills my back and, secondly, noticeably lacks a stroller.

Last night we watched yet another great selection from NetFlix: Innocent Voices. It is based on a true story about a childhood stolen during the early years of the El Salvadoran civil war. Wonderful movie- made me cry.

Here's hoping for an even keel this week...

Innocent Voices was a really great movie -- I saw it at a film festival and the writer whom the movie was based on attended the screening. He spoke after the movie about his experiences and everyone was crying. Very sad.

And I'm new to your blog, so I wanted to say I am so, so very sorry about Serenity.

Five months was hard for us too. Hang on to Triple S tight...

Thinking of all three of you tonight...
