Last Night we went to a concert. The city we live in has free concerts in just about every park around. You could go to a free concert every night of the week, all probably within seven miles. Last night we went to one by local musician Javier Mendoza. If you have never heard of this guy, check him out at, you guessed it, JavierMendoza.com If you super-sleuth it, you might also be able to figure out where we live!
This was probably the most fun we've had since you-know-what. Triple S and I danced a little as the music picked up. We've seen this guy live several times and have some CDs and some ITunes. He plays so many varied styles (perhaps the reason he is not so commercial? Doesn't fit with the music "industry's" model) and he sings in two languages. He's also kinda cute (shh-don't tell Triple S).
It's nice to have a good time.

That sounds like an awesome evening! I am a bit jealous :)
I went to a Bon Jovi concert just over a month after Callum died. Even then, it was good to not be a deadbabymama for one night and to be in the moment and enjoy something again. I'm glad you and Triple S had a good night, Ya Chun. Feeling good is such a rare thing nowadays.
I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.
