Triple S has completely abolished my dizziness. I was still a little dizzy sometimes and all the time I had a sort of fogginess that made it hard to concentrate.
I read up on Benign Vertigo and found that maybe I have some rocks loose in my head (that actually explains a lot of things...). We decided to try this non-invasive and drug-free treatment called the Epley Maneuver. It's been two or three days now and I haven't been dizzy and even went for two bike rides. This is certainly helping my mood and spirits and all that!
Yeah Dr. Triple S.

We just came in from a bike ride, I love being outdoors.
Dr. Triple S, way to go!
So glad you are feeling better and riding your bike again before the weather goes bad.

I too am here from SITS.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I had vertigo while I was pregnant. It's horrible! I had an audiologist do the loose rocks in your ears move on me. It helped, but didn't cure me.
I am glad to see that blogging has helped you work through this loss. I am very sorry that you've had to go through such a hard thing.
Biking sounds like such fun, my problem is lack of time!
I'm a SITS member, nice to meet you!

Saw you on SITS. You are strong and I admire that. All the Best.
OMGosh!!!! I am so sorry that you have had the benign vertigo.
Two years ago, I became dizzy and was misdiagnosed for almost 4 months. It was HE__!!! I had to go to a balance institute and they finally diagnosed me with BPPV. And my doctor gave me a decreasing dose of steroids and had me do the Epley manuever. After four months of holding onto the edge of the world, MRI's, neurologists visit and a trial of Topomax, it was simply rocks loose in my inner ear canal. Wow, I am so glad you are feeling better. I do know what you went through.
I came by from SITS. I am so sorry for your loss. Drop by anytime, I'll be happy to listen if you need me.
I found your site at SITS. I lost two sons 8 and 10 years ago, one due to SIDS at the age of 32 days and one due to preterm labor at 21 wks. While I have not been through what you have, I can relate very much to your experience and just wanted to say how sorry I am for your losses.
Stopping by from SITS.
I miscarried once and it was devastating. I'm so sorry for your loss, but glad to see you working through it.
Thank you for sharing your story. It takes a strong person to do just that!
Coming over from SITS. I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss.
I'm sorry to hear about your pregnancy loss, that has got to be the hardest thing! But it is good you are feeling a bit better.
I came over from SITS, nice to meet a new SITSta!
Glad something is working for you. My hubby had an episode with Bengin Vertigo that landed him in the hospital. Scary stuff!
I am stopping by from SITS, I have now read several of your entries and I am very impressed by you. I cannot imagine what you have gone through and although I have no children yet, I know that I will be asking more questions when I am expecting. Thanks so much!
Hi!I like several other ladies on here popped over from SITS. In reading your blog I am just amazed by your strength in getting through the loss of your precious baby. I will be keeping you in my prayers. The whole vertigo thing is HORRIBLE to deal with...Have you been to Physical Therapy as well? There are P.Ts that deal with vertigo. Take care &*Hugs*~Alison
Hope you feel better!
I suffer from positional vertigo - it's a real pain! The Epley maneuver is a lifesaver for sure. Also, once you get vertigo, you have a tendency to get it again and again, so be sure to just do the maneuver every morning and it should keep you from getting it!
Love your blog - so very sorry for you pain and loss. I can only imagine what you have been through and continue to go through ever day. Good for you for raising awareness.
Thank you so much for the helpful link. I just recently found out that vertigo runs in my family - who knew! I may have to give some of the at home techniques a try.
I hope you continue to feel better. I will light a candle today for your little one. I hope you feel the light today.
Glad you are feeling better! Over from SITS, praying for you & you family!
Glad you're better and out riding again. I love bike riding!
Be well and be blessed.
I too came over from SITS - I am so sorry for all you have to endure.
I am praying for you and your family.
Came over from SITS. I think it is amazing that you are sharing your experience with others. Thank you...
I hate feeling dizzy. Glad you're feeling better!
Popped in from SITS. I have never lossed a child and had no ides so many people go through this every day. I am glad to see you are on the road to recovery. My thoughts and prayers are witih you and your family
I saw a video of this maneuver on msnbc, I could not believe how quick and effective it was! My husband "cured" me of dizziness as well :) It's great that it worked for you too!
My grandfather was dizzy for a long time. The Dr. sent him to a physical therapist who had him lie down on a table then had him turn left and right tilting in some magical sequence. Afterward the dizziness was all gone. So I think I know exactly what you are talking about. It never did come back, BTW.
